Privacy Policy
Summary: BalanceIt helps you plan and balance your life. We collect account information (via Google sign-in), the tasks and reflections you create, and optional device data for notifications. We do not sell your personal information. You can delete your app data at any time in Settings.
This Privacy Policy describes how BalanceIt (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use:
- our marketing website at balanceit.life;
- our web application at app.balanceit.life;
- our mobile apps for iOS and Android (bundle ID
com.balanceit.nine); and - our macOS desktop app (bundle ID
life.balanceit.desktop).
Together, these are the “Services.” By using the Services, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Who we are

Information we collect
Account and identity
When you sign in with Google, we receive information from Google such as:
- your name;
- your email address;
- a Google account identifier used to authenticate you.
We do not receive or store your Google password.
Content you create
When you use BalanceIt, we store the data you choose to enter, including for example:
- tasks, projects, labels, goals, and life-dimension configuration;
- daily tracker logs, self-evaluations, and reviews;
- notes and media you attach to tasks (where enabled on your plan);
- import history if you connect external tools such as Todoist;
- preferences and settings (for example timezone and notification choices).
Device and technical data
- Push notifications (mobile): if you allow notifications, we store a push device token, platform (iOS or Android), and a basic device label so we can send task reminders.
- Local storage: our apps and web client may store session tokens locally so you stay signed in.
- WhatsApp capture (optional, Pro/Premium): if you enable WhatsApp task capture, we store the phone number you provide and process inbound messages you send to our WhatsApp integration to create tasks.
- Website interest form: if you submit your email on balanceit.life, we store your name (if provided), email address, and message so we can follow up about the product.
AI-assisted features
If you use AI features (for example onboarding suggestions, screen filtering, or summaries), relevant portions of your prompts and app context may be sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Do not submit sensitive information you do not want processed for that purpose.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- provide, operate, and improve the Services;
- authenticate you and keep your account secure;
- sync your data across web, mobile, and desktop clients;
- send optional push or WhatsApp notifications you configure;
- respond to support requests and product-interest messages;
- comply with law and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Services, including with:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition where the successor is bound by this policy.
Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Services. You can permanently delete your app data from Settings → Delete all my data in the web app (also available inside the mobile and desktop clients, which load the same application). That removes tasks, projects, labels, tracker logs, reviews, activity, and related content but keeps your sign-in account so you can start fresh.
To request full account deletion, email support@balanceit.life. We may retain minimal records where required by law or for legitimate security purposes.
Security
We use industry-standard measures such as HTTPS in transit, access controls, and server-side protections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; use a strong Google account and keep your devices updated.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided us data.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@balanceit.life. We will respond within a reasonable time.
- Push notifications: disable in iOS/Android system settings or in BalanceIt settings.
- WhatsApp capture: disable in Settings or remove your saved phone number.
- Google account access: revoke BalanceIt in your Google Account security settings.
International users
Our servers and service providers may process data in countries other than your own. By using the Services, you understand your information may be transferred and processed in those locations, with safeguards appropriate to the service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate.
